WOODLAND, Wash. (AP) - A semi-truck hit and killed a man early Monday in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Woodland in southwest Washington.

KATU reports (https://bit.ly/1fVnRcA ) the fatal accident about 2 a.m. closed the northbound lanes for nearly five hours.

Washington State Trooper William Finn says the truck driver reported he saw taillights on the shoulder and had moved to the center lane when he hit someone.



Finn says the 41-year-old man was wearing dark clothing. There were no other witnesses.
