CONDE, S.D. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the cause of a weekend house fire in the northeastern South Dakota town of Conde that killed a woman and injured a man.
No foul play is suspected. The 41-year-old woman and 50-year-old man were not immediately identified. The man was flown to a Minneapolis burn hospital.
The Spink County Sheriff’s Office says the fire broke out about 5 a.m. Sunday, and the house was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.
