DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP) - A boy was taken to a Dubuque hospital after repeatedly falling through ice on a partially frozen pond.
Assistant Fire Chief Mark Ludescher says firefighters responded Saturday afternoon to a pond at the Sisters of the Presentation center after receiving reports of a boy walking on unstable ice.
The Dubuque Telegraph Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1k86Iwf) the 12-year-old boy fell through the ice several times before he was rescued.
He was taken to Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.
Authorities didn’t identify the boy.
