NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD is investigating after the bodies of a man and woman were found in a Queens home.

Police say both victims died of gunshot wounds.

They were discovered around 6:30 p.m. Thursday at 1815 Summerfield St. in Ridgewood.



Police identified the woman as 21-year-old Natalie Mejia-Tavares. She was shot in the torso.

The name of the male victim wasn’t immediately released. Police say he was shot in the head.
