HONOLULU (AP) - Honolulu authorities have seized two dozen poisonous dart frogs from a Manoa home.
KHON (https://is.gd/Fcsbkb) says 51-year-old Charles Nishihara was arrested Thursday for transporting or possessing the frogs.
Nishihara says the incident was a misunderstanding.
He says he made a mistake and that he’s always had permits. He says the frogs seized were all legally obtained.
State officials say the frogs are illegal to process or transport, under state law.
