COLUMBUS, Miss. (AP) - Thousands of visitors are expected for the annual Columbus Spring Pilgrimage starting this weekend.
WTVA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1jAsMUC ) the festival - spotlighting the culture of the Old South - will run for two weeks.
Included will be historic home tours and other cultural activities.
Tourism officials say last year’s pilgrimage attracted about 10,000 visitors and generated a $1 million economic impact.
