JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) - Authorities say a cigarette or other smoking material is likely the cause of a fire at a Jamestown apartment complex.

KQDJ radio reports that firefighters were called to the fourplex about 2:30 a.m. Saturday. About 10 residents were displaced. No one was hurt.

Fire Chief Jim Ruether says investigators reached the conclusion that smoking was likely the cause of the fire after information collected by firefighters, photos taken at the scene and information collected from interviews.
