Ashland woman booked with drug possession

CORINTH, Miss. (AP) - Authorities in Alcorn County say a 24-year-old Ashland woman was booked Thursday for possession of methamphetamine.

Investigators tell WTVA-TV (https://bit.ly/1jAuTrh ) Lacey Culifer was arrested after a traffic stop on Mississippi Highway 72 in Corinth.

Deputies say they found Culifer with a bag of the drug.

It was not immediately clear whether Culifer has an attorney.
