MORGAN, Utah (AP) - The Utah Highway Patrol has identified a woman killed Friday in a 14-car chain-reaction crash that sent another woman to the hospital.

Troopers say in a statement Friday afternoon that 21-year-old Brooklyn Prestor from Henefer died after she was run over by a semitrailer involved in the Interstate 84 crash.

Officials say Prestor’s pickup truck slid off the icy road about a mile north of the town of Taggart and triggered chain reaction accidents.

They say Prestor left her vehicle and was hit by a semitrailer, which then crashed into her truck and other vehicles.

The Standard-Examiner reports (https://bit.ly/Qo3e0f ) another woman was hospitalized in critical condition and several other people were treated for minor injuries.

Troopers say there were five separate crashes involving 14 vehicles, including multiple semitrailers.
