EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - The Snohomish County medical examiner’s office has released its first official identification of a victim from Washington state’s deadly mudslide.
The medical examiner says 45-year-old Christina A. Jefferds of Arlington, Wash., died of blunt impact injuries.
Last Saturday’s mudslide hit the small town of Oso about 55 miles northeast of Seattle.
