BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - A Shelby County homeowners association is asking a judge to have a pit bull removed from a family’s home after attacks on community residents.
AL.com reports (https://bit.ly/OZ1SId ) the Willowbrook Homeowners Association filed a petition in Shelby County Circuit Court against Russell and Katherine Moultrie Wednesday.
The complaint says the couple has allowed the dog to wander freely without supervision. The couple says the dog in question, Kelly, isn’t vicious and hasn’t been allowed outside the house since an October attack on a woman walking with a stroller.
The homeowners association asked the couple to remove the dog from their home but the Moultries have refused.
