Pedestrian fatally struck by train in South Fla.

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (AP) - The Broward Sheriff’s Office says a pedestrian died after being hit by a train in Pompano Beach.

The incident happened Wednesday morning along Dixie Highway.

Few details have been released.

Deputies say an investigation is underway.
