HENDERSON, N.C. (AP) - Police in Henderson are looking for two suspects after a convenience store clerk was shot and killed during a robbery attempt earlier this week.

Officials said 55-year-old Ahmed Shahit of Henderson was shot to death around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

Police Chief Marcus Barrow said two suspects are thought to have left the store on foot.



The State Bureau of Investigation is working with the police department on the case.
