BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Officials in Deer Lodge County have released the name of a 45-year-old Anaconda man who died in a motorcycle crash near Opportunity.

Coroner Gerry Thomas tells The Billings Gazette (https://bit.ly/1llXnFm ) that Donald Huffman was riding his Harley-Davidson northbound on secondary highway 569 just before noon Tuesday when he went off the side of the road. He quickly turned to try to get back onto the pavement and the motorcycle flipped onto its side. Huffman was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.

Thomas says Huffman was not wearing a helmet and died from trauma to his head and body.

A Montana Highway Patrol dispatcher says they also had a Hardin address for Huffman on file.
