WAILUKU, Hawaii (AP) - The Coast Guard says four people who were snorkeling near Hawaii’s Molokini Crater were stung by jellyfish.
The Maui News (https://is.gd/ZQBpSf ) says the adult and three children who were stung Tuesday were snorkeling at the popular visitor destination off South Maui.
The Coast Guard received a call about the incident from a charter vessel.
A Coast Guard response boat crew arrived shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Coast Guard says the injured people were transported in the vessel to Kihei, where emergency services were waiting.
According to the Coast Guard, the injured adult was in shock. The three children sustained minor injuries.
