ARLINGTON, Wash. (AP) - About 200 people gathered Tuesday evening at Legion Park in Arlington in a vigil for the people lost in Saturday’s mudslide at Oso.

They shared hug and tears and sang ’Amazing Grace.”

Pastor Chad Blood with the Lifeway Foursquare Church in Arlington said the vigil demonstrates hope and that the community is standing with the victims.

Some people at the vigil said they wanted to help, and there was nowhere else to go.
