TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma County sheriff’s deputies say they have seized 6 pounds of black tar heroin with a street value estimated around $720,000.
A spokesman for the sheriff’s office says deputies made the bust Monday night after a traffic stop in Oklahoma City. Officials say a deputy noticed a driver make an illegal lane change and pulled the vehicle over. A K9 signaled that drugs could be inside.
Deputies recovered several bundles of heroin and nearly $9,000.
The driver, Jaime Valenzuela-Buelna, was booked into jail on complaints of aggravated heroin trafficking and possession of drug proceeds. It was unclear whether Valenzuela-Buelna had an attorney.
