NANTICOKE, Pa. (AP) - An employee of an assisted living home in northeastern Pennsylvania is accused of assaulting a patient.

WBRE-TV (https://bit.ly/1iZCaOJ) said 27-year-old Tonya Harlos was charged Tuesday with neglect and simple assault.

She worked at the Guardian Elder Care Center in Nanticoke, Luzerne County.

Police say a female patient claims Harlos held her down and put a pillow over her face.

Investigators say the woman had bruises on her arms.
