Man dies in motorcycle crash near Opportunity

BUTTE, Mont. (AP) - The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a fatal motorcycle crash near Opportunity.

The Montana Standard reports (https://bit.ly/1dL27MT ) the man was northbound on secondary highway 579 just before noon on Tuesday when he lost control of the bike and crashed. A witness reported the crash.

Trooper Ken Klapan says the man’s body was found on the road while the bike was off the road. The man wasn’t wearing a helmet.

The man’s name and age have not been released.
