JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - Mississippi County authorities say a body found in a field near Wilson has been identified as that of a missing Osceola man.

Capt. Robb Rounsavall told The Jonesboro Sun (https://bit.ly/1eJFBHH ) that the Arkansas State Crime Lab in Little Rock has identified the body as that of 49-year-old Edward Freeman. Freeman had been reported missing on Dec. 10.

The body was found March 14 in Carson Lake by a farmer. Rounsavall says a cause of death has not been determined but says foul play is not suspected.
