ROSEBURG, Ore. (AP) - Police arrested a 72-year-old Roseburg man suspected of firing a gun outside his home.
Officers went to John Herbert Brown’s house Saturday night after two people reported hearing shots fired.
According to police, Brown told an officer he was the shooter and then grabbed a revolver near the front door.
The officer grabbed the weapon and arrested Brown on suspicion of recklessly endangering another person and unlawful use of a weapon.
The Roseburg News-Review (https://is.gd/tgD27v) reports that Brown was taken to Douglas County Jail and later released.
