GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) - Police say a 25-year-old man stabbed in a bar fight in Grants Pass over the weekend has died, and a murder charge is pending against the man who was arrested in the case.

The Grants Pass Daily Courier reports (https://bit.ly/1rqHjmQ ) Michael McCoy died Monday at a hospital in Portland.

He had been stabbed in the head late Saturday during a fight at the Red Rock Lounge, after which his attacker fled.



Police say a special weapons team found 39-year-old Britt J. Bones hiding on his property in the Josephine County community of Selma late Sunday and arrested him on a charge of attempted murder. Authorities say a murder charge was pending in the district attorney’s office.
