NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Sandra Vujnovich has been appointed judicial administrator by the Louisiana Supreme Court.
Vujnovich currently serves as executive counsel to the court and Chief Justice Bernette Johnson.
The judicial administrator’s office is the Supreme Court’s managerial and is the staffing and fiscal agent for several court departments and programs, the Judicial Council, and court-appointed task forces and committees.
The position was previously held by Timothy Averill, who recently retired.
Vujnovich holds a law degree from Louisiana State University. She is married to Harahan’s interim police chief, Joseph Lorenzo.
