FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) - An occupant of the Fairbanks mobile home sustained minor burns in a residential fire that killed a dog.

The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner (https://is.gd/qS2BkN) says a cat is unaccounted for following the early Sunday morning fire, which is under investigation.

The North Star Volunteer Fire Department says people were trapped inside the mobile home at Wojo Avenue. Responding firefighters found all the residents accounted for.



The resident who sustained the minor burns did not ask for medical treatment.

Firefighters put out the blaze and spent two hours at the scene doing salvage work.
