ELKVIEW, W.Va. (AP) - Police are investigating the death of a Kanawha County woman who was hit by a pickup truck after she exited a Kanawha Regional Transportation bus.
Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Cpl. Brian Humphreys says the accident occurred around 8 a.m. Monday on Frame Road near the entrance to the Elk Crossings Apartment complex in Elkview.
Humphreys identified the victim as 21-year-old Ashley Whitehair of Elkview. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
