OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City police say officers investigating a man who was reported to be suicidal shot and killed the man.
Police say officers opened fire on the man Sunday morning when he refused to put down a gun he was holding and instead pointed it at the officers.
The man’s name was not immediately released. Police say he was in his 70s.
Police say officers went to the man’s home in northwest Oklahoma City shortly after 6:30 a.m. when the man’s wife called police and said he was threatening to kill himself.
