CARMEL, Ind. (AP) - A young central Indiana boy has died of injuries sustained in a house fire a day after his father’s death.
The Marion County Coroner’s office reports 2-year-old son, Andrew Sheil of Carmel died Saturday morning, less than 24 hours after the death of 26-year-old James Sheil. Both had been hospitalized since the Thursday fire.
Family members tell The Indianapolis Star that three people benefited from organ donations of James Sheil’s heart, pancreas, liver and kidneys.
Fire investigators said they believe the fire might have been caused by pinched electrical wires behind a desk.
The house had no smoke detectors.
