LUMBERPORT, W.Va. (AP) - Police say a body found by a fisherman in Harrison County has been identified as that of a missing Clarksburg man.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department tells media outlets that investigators are trying to determine how 57-year-old Darrell Golden went from his home to the site where his body was found.
The cause of death hasn’t been determined.
Golden’s family reported him missing after he left his home on March 17 and failed to return. A fisherman found his body Thursday near a pond in a wooded area between Lumberport and Margaret.
