BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A large fire has destroyed three buildings belonging to Billings business called JP Enterprises Indoor Auto Auction & Sales.

The Billings Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1plF9AV) the firefighters responded about 8 p.m. Friday to the fire at First Avenue South and South 33rd Street.

Fire Chief Paul Dextras says the fire started in a shed, spread quickly to the building next to it and eventually to the storefront.



He says 20 firefighters, four engines and a ladder truck took a defensive approach to the blaze.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.

A damage estimate hasn’t been made.
