NEWARK, Del. (AP) - State police say two sisters have been killed in a crash in Newark.

Police say 23-year-old Ashlyn Sisson and 22-year-old Devyn Sisson died early Friday morning after a car driven by Ashlyn ran off the road and crashed into a utility pole.

Police say neither woman was wearing a seatbelt. Both died at the scene.



Police say a preliminary investigation hasn’t revealed any evidence of drug or alcohol use.
