DAWSONVILLE, Ga. (AP) - The state fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause of a house explosion in the north Georgia town of Dawsonville.

CBS Atlanta reports (https://bit.ly/1gX7MQy) that the blast happened around noon Thursday at a two-story home on Wildwood Court.

The homeowner was not inside at the time, and no one was injured.

Cathy Holcombe, who lives two houses away, said the explosion “rocked our house.”

Dawsonville is about 50 miles north of Atlanta.
