MARINE CITY, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a pilot and his three children have avoided injury in the crash of a small plane at a St. Clair County airport.

The sheriff’s office says the 59-year-old pilot told investigators that he was landing his Cessna 172 when a wind gust flipped it Friday at Marine City Airport.

The pilot and the children - ages 18, 12 and 10 - got out of the plane unharmed. The Federal Aviation Administration has been notified and will investigate.

The airport is south of Port Huron.
