DEADWOOD, S.D. (AP) - A Meade County prosecutor has been sentenced for his second drunken driving conviction in five years.

The Black Hills Pioneer reports (https://bit.ly/1iKE0CO) that 53-year-old Deputy State’s Attorney Kenneth Chleborad was ordered to serve 10 days in jail and pay nearly $600 in fines and fees. His driver’s license also has been revoked for a year, though he’s been allowed a work permit.

Chleborad was arrested last October and pleaded guilty in February. He also was convicted in March 2010.

State’s Attorney Kevin Krull said he planned to meet with Chleborad to discuss his future.
