TROUTDALE, Ore. (AP) - Oregon Department of Transportation employees posed as moving customers at a home in Troutdale to test whether movers followed state law. They didn’t.

All seven companies that responded Thursday to a request for service were cited for failing to have the certification needed to transport household goods in Oregon.

The Oregonian reports (https://bit.ly/1dinD0I ) their trucks were met by Multnomah County sheriff’s deputies and employees of the state Motor Carrier Division.
