ONONDAGA, N.Y. (AP) - The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office says a man has died after being crushed by a grain truck in a farm’s maintenance shop.
The accident happened shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday at a farm on Buckwheat Road in the town of Onondaga. Deputies say a 42-year-old man was working on a grain truck when he apparently hit a lever on a hydraulic lift by accident.
The lift caused the truck box to lower onto the man’s chest. He was rushed to a hospital, but was pronounced dead there.
His name was not immediately released.
