DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Public Schools is offering free computer training workshops for district parents.

March 28 is the deadline to register for the workshops which will be held April 2-3 and April 9-10.

The district says parents will be taught essential computer skills and how to use portals like Gaggle and Parent Connect to monitor student academic progress from home. Course offerings will be in English and Spanish.



April is technology month in Detroit Public Schools. A two-day technology fair showcasing offerings in the district will be held April 15-16 at Randolph Career & Technical Center.
