SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - A teacher’s aide for a Scottsdale middle school has pleaded not guilty to charges accusing him of possessing child pornography photos and video at his home in the Phoenix suburb.
A Maricopa County Superior Court spokeswoman says Alvin Ray McClellan entered his plea Thursday.
The 44-year-old faces 10 felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor on an indictment issued after he was arrested March 5.
Detectives from a crimes-against-children task force searched McClelland’s home Wednesday morning. He’s being held in jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.
