MIDDLEBURG, Pa. (AP) - A central Pennsylvania man has pleaded guilty in the stabbing death of his elderly grandmother a year ago.
Twenty-eight-year-old Joshua Snook of Selinsgrove entered the plea Thursday to a criminal homicide charge in the February 2013 death of 71-year-old Bonnie Jean Snook.
A Snyder County judge must still approve a plea agreement with prosecutors calling for Snook to be sentenced to 20 to 60 years in prison.
Snook’s wife, 29-year-old Jennifer Snook, is charged with second-degree murder, conspiracy, burglary, theft and other counts in the case.
Authorities alleged in court documents that the two went to his grandmother’s Beaver Township home in search of a gun after a bar fight, and the victim was killed and her husband injured.
