BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Authorities are investigating several fires they say may have been intentionally set early Thursday.
NOLA.comThe Times-Picayune reports (https://bit.ly/1iHFopW) firefighters were called to the Siegen Village Apartments on Siegen Lane shortly after 1 a.m. and found a storage building in flames.
St. George Fire Department spokesman Eldon Ledoux says the fire was quickly extinguished. No apartments were damaged and no one was injured, he says.
Ledoux says the fire appeared to have been intentionally set.
Other fires were reported around the same time in trash bins at hotels and apartment complexes along the Siegen and Sherwood Forest Boulevard corridor. None caused significant damage and there were no injuries he says.
Investigators are seeking suspects.
