TUPELO, Miss. (AP) - School system officials in Tupelo say two administrators have announced plans to retire.

WTVA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1cpzAeU ) Travis Beard and Malcolm Hardin plan to retire at the end of June.

Beard is principal at Milam School and has been with Tupelo School District for 22 years.



Hardin, assistant principal at Milam, has worked with the school district for 33 years.

Superintendent Gearl Loden says the search for replacements will begin immediately.
