MAPLEWOOD, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a contractor lost his eye after he was accidentally shot with a nail gun at a northern New Jersey home.
The Star-Ledger (https://bit.ly/1pRbZwM) says the man was working outside at the Maplewood home when the gun accidentally discharged around 1:40 p.m. Sunday.
The man, whose name was not released, was hospitalized in stable condition. But further details on his condition were not disclosed.
It’s still not clear what caused the gun to discharge.
No other injuries were reported.
