MANDAN, N.D. (AP) - The Mandan police chief says he’s confident that investigators will solve a January homicide.

Twenty-eight-year-old Alex Lansdon was found dead in his mobile home on Jan. 27. Authorities say he died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Mandan Police Chief Paul Leingang tells the Bismarck Tribune (https://bit.ly/1jJ0FPz) that investigators are putting “huge hours” into the case. Police don’t believe it was a random killing.

Police announced earlier this month that they recovered several guns missing from Lansdon’s home, but have not released further details.
