HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Garland County authorities are searching for a woman who escaped from custody after slipping out of handcuffs following a court hearing.

The sheriff’s department said Wednesday that 25-year-old Mandy Rose Cavanaugh escaped the handcuffs and ran from bailiffs after a Monday afternoon court hearing - then jumped into the bed of a pickup truck that authorities believe was being driven by her husband - 32-year-old Sean Michael Dickson - and fled the scene.

Authorities say the pickup is a black Chevrolet with Arkansas license plate number 334-SFC.

The Sentinel-Record reports that Cavanaugh escaped after her probation on a 2011 theft conviction was revoked.
