NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - The University of Oklahoma has been chose to serve as Secretariat for the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomacy Lab program.

The program is to begin during the fall and will allow college and university students and faculty nationwide to study global issues facing the State Department and to contribute to the policymaking process through research projects.

As the Secretariat, OU will serve as the coordinator for all universities selected to participate in the program.



OU’s duties as Secretariat are to begin on May 1.
