OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Authorities in Omaha are looking for unsuccessful thieves who tried to take an ATM from a grocery store.

The Omaha Police Department says officers responded around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday to an intrusion alarm at a Bag ’N Save store.

Authorities say three suspects broke a store window and attempted to take an ATM inside with a chain. But they failed and fled in a van.

Omaha police are investigating whether the incident is linked to other ATM thefts in the last few months.
