NEW YORK (AP) - A former teacher’s aide at a New York City elementary school has been sentenced to 50 years in prison on child pornography charges.
Taleek Brooks was sentenced in federal court on Wednesday after pleading guilty to making pornographic videos of a student in a classroom.
Brooks came under suspicion in 2011 after he accepted a request from an undercover FBI agent on a child porn Internet network.
An FBI examination of Brooks’ computer later turned up a folder labeled “special.” Inside were explicit videos and photos of a student that prosecutors say Brooks produced inside a Brooklyn public school where he worked.
