DURHAM, N.H. (AP) - A University of New Hampshire alumna who directed the animated film “Frozen” is delivering the school’s commencement address in May.

Jennifer Lee, a 1992 graduate of UNH, took home an Oscar for Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards this year. She is the first woman to direct an animated feature film for Walt Disney Animation Studios, and the first female director to have a film surpass the $1 billion earning mark.

In 2010, she began work on “Wreck-It Ralph” for Walt Disney Animation Studios. The film went on to earn an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature.
