COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Two people have been taken to a hospital after they were injured in a 3-alarm apartment fire in Colorado Springs.

Fire Chief Christopher Riley says both of the people who were injured Wednesday had to be rescued from a second-story window.

According to the Colorado Springs Gazette (https://tinyurl.com/kb9hfkx ), two apartments were damaged by the fire and smoke damage was extensive in other units.



The cause of the fire is under investigation.
