LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Teachers in Albany County are the lowest paid among the six largest school districts in Wyoming.
The Laramie Boomerang (https://bit.ly/1otVvZN ) reported Wednesday that Albany County teachers were paid an average of $51,560 during the 2012-13 school year, about $5,000 below the statewide average teacher salary. It’s also about $9,000 below the average pay in Laramie County, which ranked first in pay among the top six school districts. Teachers there earned an average of $60,636.
The other five largest districts are Sheridan, Campbell, Natrona and Sweetwater counties.
