ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A health alert issued Wednesday for the Albuquerque area warns of unhealthy levels of particulates from smoke and dust.

The alert runs through 1 p.m. MDT.

The city Environment Department advises people with heart or lung disease, adults over age 65, young children, and pregnant women to avoid all outdoor activities.



The department advises other people to minimize outdoor activities.
